The household soap comprises the various laundry soap chips and powders.
Except for the purest of tiolet soaps various chemicals are added as builders
economically to improved the over all cleaning quality.
Practically all soaps are merchandized with 10 to 30% water content.If soap were anhydrous,it would be too hard to dissolve it.
Almost all toilet soap contains perfumes merely to disguise
its original soapy odor.
Toilets soaps are made from selected materials usually contain only 10 to 15% moisture with very little added materials except for Titanum Dioxide as whitening agent.
Household chipped or flaked soaps are generally a little lower in moisture content that the corresponding bar soaps;a representative composition would be:

10-20% moisture
50-60% soap
15% Trisodium bryphosphate
7% Sodium metallicate
8% Soda ash
SHAVING SOAPS- contains aconsiderable preparation of Potassium Soap with excess of steric acid,the combination giving slower-drying lather.
BRUSHLESS SHAVING CREAM-contain stearic acid and fats with much less soap. The soap or liquid soaps are now mostly soda soaps to give desired fluidity.
