Review on Too Exhausted after Exercising?

If you are not sure whether you are dehydrated or not, you can check out the symptoms that include being thirsty, having a dry mouth, feeling week while doing tasks, dizziness, staying confused and lethargic, etc. It is very important to stay hydrated at all times because the lack of it can cause more muscle soreness, longer recovery times, and can leave you less motivated to do any activity. As little as 3% or more weight loss due to dehydration can lead to as much as 10% drop in performance level. The reason of muscle fatigue when dehydrated is that the loss of fluid drops the volume of blood and thus makes the heart work harder to pump oxygen and other nutrients through the bloodstream to other parts of the body like skin, brain, muscles, etc.

To always stay hydrated, make it a point to drink every hour or two so that you dont feel thirsty. Always carry a water bottle along wherever you go so that you can sip water throughout the day at regular intervals. A natural way to determine whether you are drinking enough fluids is to watch your urine color. A pale or clear color indicates that you are adequately hydrated.

The best liquid to consume is undoubtedly water. Energy and sports drinks come loaded with sugar and artificial flavors that the body doesn't require. If you consume sports drinks, your body would need extra energy to process and get rid of sugar. Sports drinks are only beneficial for athletes indulging in high-intensity sports. If you dont like drinking water all the time, you can try flavoring water with citrus (minus sugar), fennel seeds, peppermint, etc. and you will love its taste.
