Review on The Destroyer

"The Destroyer is a paperback series of novels created by Warren Murphy and Richard Sapir about a U.S. government operative named Remo Williams."

I love this series because of the detail of the back story. Remo is the latest Master of Sinanju, a superhuman assassin who also happens to the the human avatar of the Hindu god Shiva. The Masters of Sinanju have rented out their services as assassins to Princes, emporers and governments for centuries to support the people of Sinanju a tiny little fishing village in North Korea. Their current client is The US Government.

Great reading for when you just want to relax and not think too hard.
