The book begins, The murder weapon was in a locked desk drawer over which the victim slumped.

Two years, and the case was never solved.

Main Character is Henri Derringer, pseudonym of ninety-two year old Henrietta Derringer.
Henrietta lives at the Epworth Village Retirement Community in Miami-Dade County, Florida.
And solves crimes that stump the police. She uses her computer, phone, and wits to do so. Etta is wheelchair bound, but certainly is not inactive.

She is MaryAnns Grandma, but MaryAnne does not know about her grandmas covert activities.

The story opens as Etta reads the blurb that appeared when she typed open police cases in the search box. Its been two years today since police declared the Underwood murder an open and shut case. The article also gives the time of the murder, points out the weapon is found in a locked drawer in the desk over which the victim was slumped.

Etta rubs her hands together. Not to get them warm. This was the kind of case she liked. She has solved other baffling cases, including the case of billionaire Daniel Thomas charged with murder of his wife.

Now, as Etta gloats over her new find, a voice calls, Grandma! It is MaryAnne. Yesterday she moaned to grandma about her investments. Etta hadnt remembered Daniels promise that one day he would give Henri Derringer a valuable investment tip. As MaryAnne headed out the door, Etta opened a post.

MaryAnne! she cried. I forgot a crucial errand I need you to run. She gave MaryAnne instructions and made it sound like the clandestine arrangement it was. So MaryAnne and Daniel meet.

This is a mystery, an investigation, and much more! It keeps the readers attention to want to keep reading! I wanted to know more, I wanted to know the facts of the case. I wanted to see if they all would line up. This mystery is easy to read. Its a page turner. I hope you pick it up today. You will be surprised who the real killer is!
