As the name suggests, its a heated travel mug.

I used to have a more basic version of a travel mug, that I used when I spent long days on the road for my job. Mine wasnt heated, though. It was the insulated kind rather like a flask with a top that you could drink from without needing to remove the lid. It was great to drink from while you were driving, but it didnt keep the contents hot for very long. You needed to drink your coffee within an hour and a half if you wanted it to be hot.

Thats why I think the heated mug is such a great idea. It has a 12v adapter, so it plugs straight into the cigarette lighter or 12v socket in your vehicle, and keeps your hot drink nice and warm until youre ready to drink it. According to one reviewer, it will even heat up liquid from cold in about 20 minutes. (Im not sure Id want to drink reheated coffee, but it would probably come in useful if you were stuck in a storm, for example, and needed to get something warm inside you. You could even keep some tinned soup in the car for emergencies, and use the cup to heat it up!)

I dont need to travel for work any more, because my work is all done at home in front of my computer, but if I did, this mug would be high on my shopping list.
