Myeloma is a form of blood cancer of the plasma cells in the bone marrow. This condition occurs when plasma cells become cancerous and produce tumours called plasmacytomas. This is also called multiple myeloma because a person may have more than one plasmacytomas. Plasma cells are the white blood cells formed in the bone marrow that create large amount of antibodies.
