Review on Golf's Daily DealGolf's Daily Deal to become the newest entry in the exciting Group Buying market.
TORONTO, ONTARIO, February 10, 2011 -- Golfsdailydeal.com, the social buying site geared exclusively toward the golf consumer, will officially launch in April, 2011.
"If there is one thing every golfer wants, it's more golf!" says Grant Pye, founder of Golf's Daily Deal. "For golf courses and resorts, social buying is a logical extension of their marketing plans.
Working with golf courses, resorts, teaching professionals and tour operators, golfsdailydeal.com offers seriously fantastic deals every day through its site or opt-in daily deal email. With an initial focus on the Ontario, New York and Illinois golfer, golfsdailydeal.com plans to offer deals in most North American markets over the next year.
Golf's Daily Deal was started by Grant Pye, an entrepreneur and advertising professional who has been involved in multiple successful start-up companies over his 25-year career. After seeing the incredible success of the group discount model, but frustrated with the lack of golf deals on these sites, Pye knew that there was an untapped market for social buying strictly for golfers.
Golfsdailydeal.com will offer discounts every day on items like greens fees, lessons, and stay-and-play packages at some of North Americas top golf resorts. "The quality of the experience is key," says Pye. "If we don't have a fantastic deal to offer on any given day, we wont run any deal. Period. I never want to send our members somewhere I wouldnt go myself, and I will never feature a deal that is not golf-related.
"We were intrigued by the success of other group discount sites, and really thought that golf communities in Canada and the United States would welcome the opportunity to participate in such a service," he continues. "So far the response we have received from both golfers and golf courses has been very positive, and we are excited to partner with more businesses in North America to offer this service to the golf community.
This is a win-win proposition for any golf course or resort that wants to raise awareness and build its customer base. We only get paid if someone purchases a deal, so we take care of all the up-front costs normally associated with brand-building. If no deals are sold, our partner vendors still get the benefit of our marketing efforts, and when deals are purchased we send them a cheque"
"The golf community is very vocal; check out any golf forum and you will find golfers talking about the courses they have played. If they loved the experience, they want to share it with fellow golfers, and that means more demand and business for the course. Social buying sites like Golfs Daily Deal harness that word-of-mouth marketing by generating excitement and buzz for each deal offered. "
