What are the Trading Systems?

A trading system represents a set of rules upon which we base FOREX operations, based on statistical principles. These are conditions that have been met in the past and that in forex Effective we subjected them to various tests (back tests) that give us the assurance that they are sufficiently robust to be maintained over time. Obviously any operative in FOREX is not as a fixed income, so they can never achieve their level of security. In return we have the possibility of higher profits.

Mainly there are two types of systems:

Continued leaving open positions until the end of the day and looking to be in one position while there is a tendency, and the intra-day, on the contrary they close the position at the end of the day only taking advantage of intra-day trends.

Automatic Trading System

The technological revolution of recent years has enabled the development of platforms on which they hold the trading system so as to launch their buy-sell orders to the market automatically without operator supervision.

Therefore an automatic system is a computer application, we have developed based on rules that allows us to launch and market orders automatically without involving the decision of any operator. There are many platforms with which to develop automated systems and that allow us to interact with the market, there are two types:

1.- Applications client type.

The user keeps the application, and provides real-time connection and connecting with your broker before issuing the orders generated by the systems. The user has to establish the necessary control mechanisms it will fail the application is to ensure that there is no mains cuts, cuts in telephone lines, lack of real-time ... etc, since the system would cease to function. Such applications are designed for professional users full time. Examples include Visual Chart and Tradestation. 2.- Applications Server.

It is a company that keeps in its own facilities the technology platform, and provides it with market access,in real time, etc. This platform will house our trading systems and set up all the security controls for the proper functioning of the same, ensuring to have different realtime providers, telephone lines,self power generation systems etc. .., ie and provide a total outsourcing for the management of automated systems.
