Fabulous Empire Avenueby Philippe Moisan Tutorial videos, writing
The title of my RevPage is a bit over the top. I joined a few days ago, so how good will it be for my business, I have no idea yet. The site is very well done and very active. Recommended Features
- Instead of sending contact requests, you start relationships by buying shares of people
- It's a game, the rules are simple, however, to "win", you have a few things to figure out
- I've had very interesting discussions in the communities, equivalent to groups here
- Expand your network, but don't be too agressive at posting links
- Take the time to write good or fun comments, be active, you'll have fun :)
Review on Fabulous Empire AvenueEmpire Avenue is a social network. It is called a game, there are rules to follow to be successful, i.e. be influential and get attention. Yes, you have to "buy" people to get ahead. When you join, your share price is 10 EAves. That's the currency, it's virtual money. You can buy EAves with real money, I haven't done so, and I've been active enough since joining 4 days ago to get people to buy shares of me to be able to invest in other people.
You can buy 200 shares of a member maximum at the beginning. That's for the first week. You can upgrade, but you'll see the price is sky high. I guess it's possible only after some time, a few weeks or months, I guess.
You can join communities. The communities are discussion groups. We are encouraged to participate in communities as our share price will increase. The more our share price increases, the easier it gets to buy shares of other members. You'll see it comes in handy when you want to buy shares of members who's price are 150 EAves or more.
I think it's important to define what you want to accomplish at Empire Avenue (EA), as there are, well, many avenues you can take. At first, when you join, you are asked to choose an index. By default, it's the EAves that is presented. There was a discussion a few weeks ago saying what is best to do. I can't remember what came out of the discussion. I chose to be in video blogging, since I focus more on video marketing.
I had discussion on religious topics, Android phones, advertising, blogging, writing, family and kids, many of those discussions were very cool.
Here are 2 videos I created to give you a better idea of the EA experience.
Empire Avenue has a blog too. Useful to understand the changes to the game, as algorithms are adjusted for different reasons.
Here's an interview of the owner by a member, Terri.
I just posted this very informative message about buying shares I saw at EA, it helps to understand it even more.
Here's a blog from Ron Capps with tips about EA.
Take a look at this blog post from another EA member, Five Dos and Don'ts for Businesses on 'Empire Avenue'.
To end this RevPage, I invite you to take a look at this blog post from a member who joined EA 2 weeks ago, his name is Darren Deverux.
