Review on Apsense - OUR community

Dear Spammers
I don't know who you are. I don't know what you want.
If you are looking for ransom, I can tell you I don't have money.
But what I do have are a very particular set of skills; skills I have acquired over a very long career.
Skills that make me a nightmare for people like you.
If you stop spamming now, that'll be the end of it.
I will not look for you, I will not pursue you.
But if you don't, I will look for you, I will find you, and I will report you.

Beth knows full well what spamming is and she is going to kick up shit when we start dealing with them. She has always had it in for admins so make sure you don't forget to wear the steel back plate as thats where she likes to stick the knife in.

I have the impression many people paste the same message as a comment on multiple places.

You're absolutely right, Paula. It's a sad fact. In the short run, it makes them look good with pass-through posts. In the long run, when you discover they're doing it, they lose credibility. A month ago, I wrote an article on a site. Someone said it was life changing. A good friend of mine told me it was spam cause there was nothing specific about my article. Well, a few minutes later, I saw the same person had commented on someone else's article. I went to see. It was the exact same comment, word for word. I'm not talking about a 2-word comment, it really looked elaborate. It destroyed my balloon, and stopped trusting his feedback. He was the loser.

Duplicate content can be construed as spam. the one that annoys me right now is the plagiarists. they copy and paste a sentence from your original post or the comment of someone else and then post it like it was their comment.

@Paula and Philippe.
There is alot of them that do that, i know some of them by heart already. If they comment on my pages it gets deleted.
I am going to start calling them out by name if they are not careful, they must just catch me in a foul mood.
Lucky for them i am in a good mood.

Yes one of our 'gibberers' is starting to do that he will change one word from someone else comment then post it as if it was his. Doesn't really work when the post you plagiarize is right above your own spam post.

Ah, some more good comments. I'm not sure which is worse -
The lazy ones who announce themselves like an alarm "ding, ding"
or
the more refined spammers who attempt to conceal themselves
Is it really that hard to read, think and post?
I put more effort in reporting them because I feel like a spammer saying "once again Spammy Spammerson said spam spam spam spam" everytime, switch it up once in a while, you morons

This is great, lets keep this going and try to clean up more spammers, I'm only here maybe once or twice a week and like to see the good stuff - not the rubbish replies and posts..keep up the good work admins..
