Review on Amazon Kindle 3G
The Amazon Kindle is the greatest thing a book lover could ever ask for. Carry all of your favorite books in a small package that weighs less than a pound. For a long time I've wanted to bring books with me to read while commuting back and forth to work. One problem I had is that some of those books weighed a couple of pounds and are quite bulky.
When I first learned about the Kindle I was interested, but skeptical by all the claims that it was like reading printed material. Now, I find myself looking at the screen and asking "is this really a computer display?" It really does look like printed material.
Another concern I had was with PDFs. I had read review of some readers that did a terrible job of displaying PDF documents. The Kindle does have trouble displaying PDFs, but it seems to be only ones that were scanned. My collection of study material for the CompTIA test displays nicely on the Kindle.
Overall, the Amazon Kindle is a great reader and an equally great gift for this coming Holiday season.
