Review on Advent in Austria hub
Austria is a fascinating country to visit, especially from late November to the end of the year, when one has the possibility to experience the countrys many folk traditions. Advent begins on the Sunday four weeks before Christmas Eve, when people have wreaths woven from evergreen twigs and decorated with ribbons and four candles. Each Sunday one more candle is lit to mark the advent of Christmas. Christmas markets, with their arts and crafts exhibits are another typical tradition in Austria, as are the Christmas trees and singing of Christmas carols. People also have the habit of baking Christmas cookies at this time and magazines and newspapers usually publish different recipes, which people like to follow.Related to Advent in Austria hub
