Group Guidelines PLEASE READ!!!
DO NOT APPLY TO THIS GROUP UNLESS YOU HAVE SEVERAL WELL WRITTEN BLOGS I CAN READ, AND AT LEAST 5 HONOR POINTS
I have redefined the Group Guidelines somewhat, to bring a little more clarity to my vision for this group.
If you have any suggestions, please don't hesitate to send me a message.
For Those Who Have A *Demonstrated Ability To Write Quality Content (or the potential to, reflected by love of humanity, great attitude, and/or teachability)
It is my sincere desire to bring together the many inspirational, well spoken writers I have encountered since joining Apsense into one group where we can all strengthen each other.
TOPICS:
Should be Motivational, Helpful, Inspiring, Funny, Moving, Creative,or 'How-To', anything that will add to our group success, without 'Marketing' to us. Religious and Political views should be avoided.
GUIDELINES:
I. No Blatant Advertising. Links to a site you are affilliated with for purposes of providing information relevant to the content of your post are fine, as long as you are not posting about a specific business or opportunity in the form of advertisement. Signature links however, are encouraged!
II. No Personal Attacks. It has been brought to my attention that some groups have members that will disparage other members for something they disagree with. Thankfully we don't have that here, and in order to preserve this environment, posts and/or comments containing such will be deleted, and offending members dropped from the group on second offense
III. No Duplicate Links. Please don't post a discussion to link readers to another discussion you have already posted, or blog you have written. When you contribute good content here, people will automatically want to check out more of your work, and will go to your other blogs from following your profile. Exception: members ARE allowed to put one line at the bottom of their post such as: "See my profile at http://apsense.com/user/dnk490 (I used mine as an example) This would be much the same as your Signature link.
IV. Tops. There has been a great deal of controversy here at Apsense about topping, due in large part to the unethical practice of 'topping rings'. Topping rings were started by people who wanted to skyrocket their ratings, and put their blogs on the front page, without taking the time to contribute Quality Content. QCWG does not, and has NEVER endorsed or used this method. However some may have misunderstood the intention of these guidelines.
The following guidelines are suggested for Tops. Does it have Quality Content? Not necessarily perfect puncuation or grammar. Does it contain something moving to you? Does it fall within the Topics Guidelines? You just plain like it! Any one or more of the above should be a reason to TOP.
If a member is violating the accepted guidelines, myself or one of the other Admins will coach them
I would like to see the following beneficial efforts applied by each one of us, because they will benefit us all:
1. Visit each others ABC periodically and link to, or suggest improvements to them.
2. Feel free to suggest improvements to this group. If each of us will put in a few minutes at this, we will create more exposure, Honor Points, and hits for each other as we build this group into 'The Must Read Group' here at Apsense!
*In effect, my efforts will build your success, and yours will build mine! I have made this club private, because I want to ensure that the members can all write quality content, in keeping with the theme here, but please send me names of any you know here who would fit these guidelines.
