Evertrust Development's Upper Vista Welland Condo Project Advances with a 2-Phase Plan

The Evertrust Developments team is thrilled to share a significant milestone in the progression of the Upper Vista Welland Condominiums project. A two-phase permit plan has been officially approved and set into motion as of last week, marking a momentous stride toward bringing this highly anticipated development to life.

The formulation of this intricate plan was the result of nearly three months of dedicated work, involving numerous coordination meetings and collaborative efforts from various structural engineering firms, The City of Welland, and all other key stakeholders. The outcome is a meticulously crafted and all-encompassing strategy that ensures the project's optimal reconstruction.

Evertrust Development’s Welland Condominium, located at 350 Prince Charles Drive in Welland, had already been underway when a partial structural issue arose in February 2023, prompting a temporary suspension of activities for safety and investigative purposes. The recent issuance of this new permit plan by The City of Welland signifies a promising leap forward in the project's development.

The initial phase of the plan involves the ongoing demolition of a portion of the building, which is already in progress and expected to conclude shortly.

The subsequent phase, the final reconstruction permit, gives the green light for construction to recommence on the condominiums, marking an exciting milestone in the project's journey.
