Yuchai Serves the 13th National Games Wholeheartedly and Promotes Supply-Side Reform

The 13th National Games of the People's Republic of China (hereinafter referred to as the National Games), themed “National Games for a Healthy China”, rang up the curtains on August 27 in Tianjin. The event attracted a total of 10,217 athletes from different provinces, municipalities and sports associations in China. Yuchai, by virtue of its excellent quality and sincere services, was selected as the major engine provider, and 748 shuttle buses equipped with Yuchai’s engines were put into use during the National Games.

A month before the National Games, Yuchai’s sales company, based on the principle of “being well-organized, demanding, well-planned and foolproof”, worked out a well-laid plan for the service assurance of its engines during the National Games. In the build-up to the National Games, the service assurance teams repeatedly performed the engine troubleshooting for fleets and finally delivered trouble-free engines to the National Games for use.

During the National Games, athletes were in top form in the arena, while Yuchai’s service assurance was in good order outside. The National Games is to ring down the curtains on September 8. Yuchai’s service team, together with 748 shuttle buses equipped with Yuchai’s engines, would escort the National Games for 13 days and again show its excellent quality and sincere service to the public.

Recently, the Fifth Guangxi Tour of National Major Network Media kicked off in Yulin City, Guangxi Province. A media delegation visited Guangxi Yuchai Machinery Group Co., Ltd. Product Upgrading

By simplifying and integrating product platform and series, it has successfully launched the whole series of high-quality products conforming to Euro IV, Euro V and T3 emission standards, and upgraded from mid-end engine to mid- and high-end engine in the phase of Euro IV, Euro V and T3. Its market share has further increased, and the yield rate of the product has been fundamentally improved.

International Development

Taking “One Belt and One Road” Initiative as an opportunity for construction, Yuchai Group achieved a development against trend in overseas markets; co-developed a new generation of Euro VI products together with AVL List GmbH of Austria, FEV of Germany and some other well-known foreign scientific research institutions and European and American vehicle enterprises, fully participating international market competition. System Reconstruction

Yuchai Group implemented a subversive reform to the production process system, vigorously promoted cost-saving and profit-increasing practice, meticulously managed the cost and profit in accordance with product usage, platform and model, and established Yuchai’s distinctive management system for cost and benefit; took the management philosophies of Toyota, Honda and other foreign advanced enterprises as its benchmark, strengthened the top-level design for lean management, and preliminarily built Yuchai Lean Operating System (YCOS). World Brand Lab released the list of “China’s 500 Most Valuable Brands 2017” in Beijing on June 22. Yuchai Group ranks No.103 on the list and its brand value has increased to RMB 34,596 million from RMB 28,195 million in 2016, exceeding RMB 30 billion for the first time on record.
