History, architecture, religion, culture, cuisine and sheer natural beauty – there is just so much to see in Nepal! To be frank, one trip is just not enough to do justice to an entire country, but if that’s all you have then we suggest you pick one of our 2 itineraries,it will ensure that you get to see the best of Nepal–

Itinerary 1 (7 nights/8 days)

Kathmandu– Pokhara - Chitwan - Kathmandu

A Nepal trip that will ensure you get an equal dose of culture, wildlife and relaxation with some absolutely spectacular scenery thrown in!

You start with a couple of days at Kathmandu, the capital city of Nepal. Kathmandu valley is full of some gorgeous historical sites –art, architectural treasures of Hindu and Buddhist significance that date back to medieval times.

Next stop on your Nepal Tour is Pokhara. From Kathmandu, you drive through 200 odd kilometers of gorgeous scenic roads to Pokhara. The snow-capped Annapurna mountain range and peaceful Phewa Tal (lake) make for a tranquil couple of days filled with some great treks and good food.

After Pokhara, you head off to the Royal Chitwan National Park for full 2-3 days of safari activities to round off your Nepal trip. The park has over 500 species of birds and is home to the One-horned rhinoceros and the Royal Bengal Tiger.

The last day is reserved for driving back to Kathmandu and some light shopping and sightseeing before you bid goodbye to this beautiful country and head back home.

Itinerary 2 (9 nights/10 days)

Kathmandu – Nepalgunj – Bardia – Kathmandu

Get the very best of Nepalese Culture and Wildlife rolled into one relaxing trip.

This is a highly curated Nepal tour which keeps you focused on two main attractions of Nepal –its unique culture and history and its unparalleled flora and fauna.

You land in Kathmandu and spend a couple of days soaking up the local sights and cultural hotspots in the valley. You will be busy here indeed – Kathmandu valley has a rich history that goes back thousands of years and is home to 7 UNESCO world heritage sites. Here you will need the services of a good local travel agency to ensure that you not only get a smooth visit to the sites but also understand the history behind it all.

From the hectic Kathmandu, the Nepal trip then moves on to the more relaxed environs of Bardia. You will fly to the closest airport Nepalgunj and then travel by road to the Bardia National Park. Here the agenda is to take in the geographical and natural beauty of the region – this includes a visit to the crocodile breeding center, walking safari, tiger sightings, bird watching, and river rafting.

No matter how you structure your trip to Nepal, one thing is for sure – the country and its many treasures demand that you spend time exploring it leisurely! We suggest you zero in on what interests you the most and plan a nice, long, unhurried trip.
