They are simple, straight forward and easy to use. The key for us was learning how to USE them to create effective compelling and "jaw dropping" titles and headers for our messages. Here's how we use these resources to create MOST of our email, article, blog posts and Press Release headlines.
1) Take several minutes and think of several catchy phrases using your product, service or program keyword(s). It should be at least two words but depending on the niche one may do.
2) Go to Sloganizer.net (it generates many different compelling ideas for titles and headlines)
3) Select English Language
4) Input a keyword associated with your business or whatever you are promoting
5) Click Sloganizer
6) Repeat the process as many times as you like and create a list of compelling sounding phrases for your Headlines or PR titles
THEN
1) Go to aminstitute.com/headline/index.htm
2) Input each phrase seperately from Sloganizer
3) Select the appropriate category (Very important to select one as close to your niche or business as possible)
4) Click the "Submit For Analysis" button
The beauty of this site is that it's perfect for analyzing the emotional responses you can expect from those receiving your email "TEASER" and SUBJECT headlines. It gives you three different aspects of human response to specific messages...
These are what's called the Emotional Marketing Value (EMV)
1) Intellectual
2) Empathetic
3) Spiritual
Your results will return a combination of one, two or all three EMV's. Getting a phrase with a high percentage score and ALL three is like striking GOLD or OIL!!
Also, getting all three with say 35-40% score is very good. A score of 50% is considered the standard to achieve. You will get results that will not return anything. Thar's okay just keep testing different phrase ideas. You'll even get more ideas from the testing process of both sites.
When writing any content for doing business especially online these three EMV categories are the KEY hot buttons required to connect with your audience. Remember it's ALL about ENGAGEMENT and whether it's received in a way that endears you to the one receiving your message.
