Why you should consider getting a Meijer credit card

Even though there are many worthwhile gas credit cards on the market, it is sometimes difficult to get a decent card with a fair credit. In such a case, we can recommend you to look at the Meijer credit card and consider getting it. Actually, there are pretty solid grounds to do that.

First of all, this credit card is a store branded one, which means that you can try to get it even with a fair credit (starting with 630). Secondly, it doesn't have an annual fee. Yet, considering that this a store branded credit card, you may expect to get a rather high APR. So, we don't recommend you to carry a balance.

In terms of rewards, the card is really good. First of all, you will receive $10 after spending $750, which leaves you with a reward rate of 1.3%. Even though it's quite a low reward rate, it's not bad at all, because additionally you will enjoy a rebate on gas - 10 cents off each gallon. That rebate is worth 4% reward rate, which in result leaves you with a 5.3% reward rate on gas purchases. That is the reason why we recommend you to use this credit card only for gas purchases.
