Blogging has become a popular activity in the 21st century which lets one share his or her thoughts with a world which is perceived to be finitely endless. A person’s agenda to blog may vary – it could just be a pointless banter or something that demonstrates his special skills in a particular art or just to share his innermost feelings with the world which he or she would not be vocal about in real life.

Passionate teachers who love to communicate with students even outside their workplace can definitely try blogging to connect with an even larger classroom. Blogging shouldn’t be necessarily taken as a way to teach always but also to exchange various ideas, methods with other educators around the world. One could also use it to simple vent his frustrations out. Writing gets one’s thought process in flow and some might find it a better way to communicate than speaking.

Networking is considered to be an important activity in today’s world, and teachers can build and improve their relationship with their fellow students. Students get a chance to know their teachers better. Teachers can incite their student to respond to their ideas. Students who are not very comfortable being vocal about their opinions in class would take a chance to express themselves comfortably from behind their laptops or tablets, which would help the teacher to improve her teaching methods. This would also mend the communication gap between teachers and students and improve their relationship.

Teachers can become a source of inspiration for other professionals who wish to be motivated through innovative ways to rediscover their love for teaching and education. The reasons are endless for one to blog, and one will surely find an audience on the internet, no matter how small or big the number is.
