This is because if a cyclist does not have visible clothing, by the time a motorist notices them, it might be too late to avert an accident. With this group of people, wearing visibility clothing is a must because it is usually a health and safety regulation to do so. As the name suggest, these garments are worn so that people can easily spot you, whether it is during the day or the night.

Most if not all clothing items are made using specific materials which ensure that workers are protected from cuts, high voltages, static electricity and chemical and biological hazards. Some clothing also has material that protects employees who work in places with high levels of heat. Because of the material used to make the clothing, their bodies are not affected by the heat in any way.

The kind of visibility clothing that one wears is normally determined by the lighting in the area where they are or where they work, as well as weather conditions such as snow and fog. So if you know that you are in a foggy area or that you work in a place with inadequate lighting, such clothing is essential.

Therefore, high visibility t shirts are very important in many industries. Many injuries and sometimes fatalities happen at work, and sometimes all these incidences can be avoided by wearing protective gear. It is unfortunate that there are still some companies which do not take this requirement seriously. The same is true for some cyclist and people who love jogging or taking walks at night. Some of these people are not even bothered to wear the correct protective gear. This can lead to accidents which could have been otherwise avoided.
