In order to prove this, Dr. Stephen Scott along with his coworkers at Cambridge University Hospital trialed with thirty-four incubator babies who were weighing below the moderate weight that is 2.5 pounds. They decided to shift half of the newborn babies on sheepskin. The result was amazing. Twelve out of seventeen babies started to gain weight faster than fourteen out of seventeen babies who were continuing to lie on the cotton sheets.
