Why Is Digitalization Important in Schools?

No one can help you if you are unwilling to learn, as someone once stated. Nobody can stop you if you are motivated to study. That is precisely what this year has taught us. During a tough time when everyone was trapped behind the walls of their houses, the learning process never ceased. It is now simply referred to as virtual learning or e-learning. Today's technological advancements are beyond anyone's comprehension, and phrases like computers and mobile phones have become commonplace in our daily lives. As a result, not only was it easier for the greatest school in India to organise and manage online lessons, but it was also easier for any other educational institution attempting to do the same. Indeed, many people were already dabbling in the realm of online school programs, but the advantages of a virtual classroom were really realized during this current time period. But why should online learning or e-learning education be limited to a pandemic? Why not completely integrate it and embrace digitalization?

We recommend that schools in India undergo digital transformations and focus on online learning for children, not because that is what every other company is doing these days. We say this because today's youngsters are so accustomed to technology, computers, and social media that they are dubbed "digital natives." And it should come as no surprise that digital working is the way of the future. As a result of all of this, it is the job of the school to instill a sense of familiarity with digital working among students through the use of an online classroom.

To be honest, it is past time to bring learning into the digital era. Why should the CBSE and ICSE schools in India lag behind when everything else can be done online or on our phones? A smart class encourages students and instructors to work together more collaboratively and productively. While switching digital involves an initial expenditure, it saves money in the long run. Going digital not only saves resources such as paper, so directly lowering the number of trees chopped down, but it also makes it easier for teachers to access and track their students' work.

Digital is the future, and it is not incorrect to remark that it is gradually becoming the present. We appreciate that expecting every school to go completely digital overnight is unrealistic, but if they can't, they should allow some room for future online instruction.
