The straightforward answer to the question why growth of flat sales is going upwards in Meerut region is its easy connectivity to Delhi. On the basis of this factor, Meerut will attract more property investors. Till now, people from Mawana, Sardhana and Muzaffarnagar are pouring in the city due to its proximity to Delhi-NCR.

With easy connectivity and cheaper property prices, Meerut is set to entice property investors from Delhi, Ghaziabad and Noida. More builders are offering residential township plans and giving a pace to the growth of flat sales in the Meerut region.

Development authorities in the NCR and the Meerut Development Authority have agreed to plan an expressway between Delhi and Meerut. The extension of the Metro line from Delhi border to Meerut is on the way as well. These step will help dwindle commuting time between the national capital of India and Meerut to just 45 minutes. That is why investment in property in Meerut will bring impressive returns in the long run.

With the initiation of work on Rapid Rail Transit System (RRTS) and Delhi-Meerut Expressway (64 km long), it will be easy to commute from Anand Vihar, Delhi, to Meerut in a hassle-free manner. Consequently, the real estate development in the city is going to take a big leap. An elevated railway track of 67km will be aligned to the expressway. The expressway is likely to complete in 2015.

The expressway will cover about 28km of NH-24 between Dasna and Ghaziabad with the widening of 6 lanes to 14 lanes. The Delhi Integrated Multimodal Transport System (DIMTS) is going to start the project.

The RRTS will have proposed halts at the following areas: Anand Vihar, Vaishali, Mohan Nagar, Meerut Road (Airtel Cut) Morta, Duhai, Murad Nagar, Gang Nahar, Modi Nagar, Mohiuddinpur, Meerut Bypass Cut and Pallavpuram. The track of the train will be underground from Anand Vihar to Dabur. Then, it will take an elevated route to Meerut. Interstingly, the speed of the rapid train will be 150km per hour compared with Delhi Metro’s 30-40km per hour speed.

When property investors look for a safe investment in real estate, flats in Meerut give them a reason to smile as they are affordable and well-designed to suit the living needs of residents of all sizes and types. Owing to cheaper property rates in Meerut, property investors find Meerut their next resting haven in the green and peaceful ambiance.
