Why do the best employees leave their job even when they absolutely love it ?
The company should win over its employees first, in order to win at being the first company. It is terrible for a company to lose a good employee because he carries with him the expense of finding, onboarding and training a replacement. The uncertainty that how an employee will work out always prevails. In most cases an employee does not really try to fit in the team and cannot even fit in due to a lot of reasons, and there are chances that he moved because of personal reasons, or something offended him badly which lead to this drastic step. It is important to be aware about the reasons that why people usually leave a workplace, the reasons are as follows:
Overwork - This is the most common reasons of all. Employees are usually given targets to complete at their workplaces, but sometimes there is a workload, and this overwork can make them frustrated and they might quit the job. Often the most trusted, capable and committed employees are overloaded the most, which burns out these great employees. If they are being overloaded with more and more work, without recognition or incentives, then they think that they are being used and the boss if taking advantage of their modesty.
Lack of Recognition - It is human nature to feel the need to be recognized and rewarded for the hard work we pour into everything we do. Even the most selfless and modest people crave for recognition. In case you do not have a very high budget for providing raises and bonuses, you can provide them recognition with low-cost ways, and words of “Appreciation” come for free. The employees working under the best SEO providers also churn because of the boss being overly occupied, and does not recognize them for their hard work. Generally, people do not wish to work at a place where they are not recognized, that is the last thing they would want to do in their life.
Lack of Trust - Your employees will always judge your behavior for other and always weigh it against your commitments. They will keep a note of how you talk to vendors, lie to stakeholders, cheat clients, or fail to keep your word, and the best and the most eligible employee will certainly leave, the rest left behind will lead.
Vague Visions - Employees get frustrated with a workplace which is filled with visions and big dreams, but does not really aims to translate those aspirations into strategic goals that ultimately make them achievable. Usually, people like to work at a place where they can see the potential to achieve something, and not where they are just going to spin the wheels.
Therefore, an employee leaves his job in most of the cases because of the boss and not due to the organization.
