The SUV market is one of the most competitive in the segment. Specifically, the SUV-C segment represents one of the toughest battles, with heavy rivals with the Nissan Qashqai or the Seat Ateca. The Subaru XV also fights in this market, being a competitive model with its own personality. For its part, the Jeep Renegade is somewhat smaller, although it has the capacity to face the elders. Subaru XV, own personality

The Subaru XV has a very personal set. Its second generation, launched earlier this year, follows the same philosophy, with its well-known boxer engines and all-wheel drive as standard. Its design is, for some, the key to the whole and for others its Achilles heel. Although no one can deny that it is the most dynamic SUV-C in the segment along with the Seat Ateca.

Jeep Renegade, off-road spirit

The Jeep Renegade is an SUV that, like the Subaru XV, has a lot of personality. The design is also very campero, and in this case it takes on an off-road side. The modification parts like Jeep Renegade led headlights are hot sale in the US market. It is smaller than the Japanese, although that does not mean that it is worse.

While the Subaru XV reaches up to 4.46 meters long, the Jeep Renegade remains at 4.25 meters long, 1.69 meters high and 1.80 meters wide. The trunk, logically, is more limited, with 351 liters of capacity. The mechanical range is well completed, and offers more options than the Japanese. There are five options, starting with a 105 hp 1.6 Multijet II, an engine that is also offered with a little more power in the 120 hp 1.6 Multijet II and a 2.0 Multijet II that is available with three power levels: 120, 140 and 170 hp. The traction can be total or front.

If you need space, the Subaru XV is your most interesting option despite its price. Its battle is larger and its trunk leaves us about 30 liters more cubic capacity. For the rest, both have a personal design and a unique configuration. In the same way, both have a lot of off-road, being their SUV configuration.
