WHICH FIELD IS BETTER PHARMACY OR MBBS?

MBBS is better for those who have determine to study for 5 to 6 years & if you want to pursue any good career in medical field with good salary. Pharmacy is the type of course for analytical brain. From determining the quality of drugs under Pharmaceutical Quality Assurance to studying methods of drug manufacturing in Pharmaceutics, it took an in-depth understanding of concepts for the same. In fact, some of the concepts in Pharmaceutics are directly related to fluid dynamics and thermodynamics, and various other unit operations.

Getting admission in a Medical course is very difficult as compared to B. Pharm.  Both are equally good, depending on how much hard work you can put in. B. Pharm is relatively easier. MBBS is a lot of hard work, you have to work hard for over 5 to 6 years and you become a doctor.

MBBS is Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery. There are two separate degrees, but in practice the two are usually treated as one. The degrees are the British equivalent of the American M.D. The basic or degree level qualification for a medical profession is MBBS which is of 5 1/2 years duration (including 1 year internship).

B. Pharm/Pharm D.:

In India, till now past- tradition is continue that doctors are diagnosing and prescribing but they are not really deal with drugs. Only pharmacist can learn about drugs and their effects. So, Pharm. D. may develop new pattern which is running around the world.

Also after doing Pharm. D, you can be registered pharmacist. So you can practice as pharmacist anywhere.

Pharmacy is a paramedical field and you better knowing about it, deals with all the direct and indirect aspects of medicines from development of new molecule to launch.

Pharmacy is nevertheless than MBBS or other degrees. Though there is less recognition of pharmacy in India but still pharmacist have great opportunities.

They can enter in the field of research, production, and IPR, regulatory affairs, sales, marketing, lectureship and many more. One will never find these much career choices after their graduation.

Pharmacists are higher salaried professionals in America and other foreign countries, where pharmacists are allow practicing clinical pharmacy. They have system in which patient is diagnosed by physicians and then the patient sent ahead to pharmacist with diagnosis. Pharmacist is allowed to prescribe the patient.

In India also the same course called as Pharm. D. is introduced before one and half year only. So you are in the safe hands of career beginning. Although there is not an exact reorganization of clinical pharmacy in India but it is sure that you have the greatest & the brightest career in India with higher prospectus for the course.
