Where Can I Find Nice Lunch Places Near Me?
Here’s the thing: Probably like you, when I get to work it full steam ahead. And by the time noon rolls around I’m looking to take a break, go to lunch, and relax for an hour. Here in New York City there are quite a few nice lunch places near me, all within a few blocks. I’m guessing it’s pretty much the same for you. But again, if you’re like me, you want more than just a good lunch, you’d like to go to a place where there are a bunch of people your own age who look at a restaurant not only as a place to get something to eat, but to socialize and meet new people as well. I mean, there are only so many hours in a day, and going out at night after work isn’t an option during the week. So, my time for meeting new people, especially those of the opposite sex, is pretty limited. That’s why a luncheon spot, frequented by people I’d like to meet, is ideal for my life style. Problem is, how do I find such a place without trying each one in my area? And the answer, I’ve found, is Trist, a remarkable new app that demographically, and in real time, will zero in on that great restaurant where tons of people, like you, are looking to meet up. No kidding!
How does Trist work?
I simply click it, and scroll down the list of nice lunch places near me. And voila! up pops, Laura’s Lunch, a block away. Looks good. Trist tells me that age group at Laura’s is what I’m looking for. In my case, people in the their 20s and 30s. But whoops, there’s a problem. The ratio of males to females is 8 to 2. Not quite what I had in mind. So, I check a few more restaurants and bars, but find the age grouping is folks in their 40s and 50s. That won’t do. But then I find Rosie’s Restaurant. Trist tells me how many people are currently there and that their ages are primarily in the 20s and 30s. This is good. Even better is when I discover that the ratio of males to females is 4 to 6. This gives me a shot, and I decide that’s where I’m headed for lunch today.
Trist makes going out to lunch an adventure
Going out to a nice lunch place near me has turned into a very enjoyable adventure. I no longer simply look forward to what I’m going to order, I look forward to meeting new people. And in the few weeks I’ve been using Trist, I’ve met quite a few. Trist takes all the guesswork out of deciding where to go for lunch (not to mention great bars and pubs in the evening!). It’s easy to use and the results are great. If you’re serious about meeting new people, this is the app you absolutely have to have!
