What’s Best for Your Child to Watch on Television
by agha raza aghaWe are living in a fast paced world
and there are many gadgets available for the adults and the kids alike. When we
were kids, we only had the dear old Television which didn’t do much other than
play our favorite cartoons and songs on some specific time of the day. There
were no separate TV Channels for kids like there are now and we used to wait all
day for the time they played cartoons on Television. The Smart LED TV(s) we have in our homes do more than the old
Televisions we had back in the day. Not only do they have different channels
for kids to watch but some other features as well which they can now easily
operate. And some of them may even out smart us.
These kids belong to the technological era and they learn to use it faster than us. And when this is the case we need to pay attention on what they watch or have access to on these Best LED TV(s) because with one click they can open something which is not good for their fresh and fragile minds. A child’s mind is very receptive and they can pick up small details which we as adults do not care for. And we as parents and their elders need to be careful what we show them on Television.
You may watch a TV Show or Drama Serial in
front of them which seems alright to you but for their minds any conflict between
the characters can affect their mind. They are young and learn very fast and
instead of learning the basics from you, if you glue them to the Television
Screens they will end up picking the wrong aspects of these different
personalities of the characters shown in the Dramas and Shows because more than
often the bad characters are shown as cool ones and a child’s mind is too
fragile to understand the big picture of it. And this is not just about the
show you watch but also about the kind of content that is made for kids, the
cartoons must also be selected by the parents because not all of them are
informative even if they are made for kids. You need to make sure that whatever
your child watches has a learning curve and a moral lesson otherwise you will end
up corrupting their fragile minds.
The best way to avoid this is to
watch these cartoons and programs yourself first and then see which ones will
be beneficial for your child and when you show them these shows try to sit with
them so if they have any questions or any difficulty understanding them you can
remove the confusion right away. Make this a regular practice this way not only
your kid will learn new things but the experience of learning them with you
will also make for a good memory and they can also practice these newly learned
lessons.
