You can never go wrong with a Death Knight. They are always solid on both single target and AOE dps and are very fun to play, and if you ever want to make the transition you can tank as well. Also, you start at level 55 so less painful leveling for wow gold, and you get a combat ress.

However, when DKs were launched they were very OP, I would assume that this would hold true to Monk as well.
In fact,every patch brings a new form and top/bottom dps class. So playing the most OP class is essentially a pointless venture. In MoP, you can choose the class you think has the best playstyle, best mechanics, most enjoyable rotation. As you can see the best dps class in MoP can be Death Kngiht, warlocks,warrior ect.
