People from Utah to the East Coast know that Ford provides tough, powerful trucks that can just about handle any terrain. Most recently, a lot of attention has been brought to their new 2017 F150 Raptor, a beast of a vehicle that comes packed with power and good looks.

The Ford F150 Raptor is currently in trail testing by engineers, and so far it is living up to expectations. Ford’s website has even gone as far as to say that this Raptor is the “toughest, smartest and most capable Raptor ever.” Truck lovers in Utah and around the country were able to get a taste of what the Raptor has in store when Ford released a detailed YouTube video showing off its capabilities and manliness.

Raptor fans can expect some nice upgrades with this new truck. Here are three improvements Ford is including.

Gas Efficiency

Trucks are not necessarily known for being the best when it comes to fuel economy. However, Ford has been trying very hard to make this truck a good mix of brawn and brains by making it powerful and fit to handle rough roads, while also getting great gas efficiency. This is quite a challenge, but if they can pull it off, it will definitely be a game-changer.

Tough Tires

Off-roading fans in Utah and in other parts of the country will be happy to know that the tires on the 2017 Raptor come ready to handle the toughest of the tough terrain. It comes with 17-inch wheels that are wrapped BGGoodrich All-Terrain KO2 tires that are designed for the sole purpose of off-roading.

FOX Racing Shox

F150 fans can have peace-of-mind with the new Raptor because it comes with a new suspension that prevents the truck from bottoming out. The canisters also received an upgrade from two and a half to three inches in diameter, which also really helps out with suspension.

The new Raptor is sure to satisfy all kinds of off-roading fans. With its gas efficiency and overall toughness, it will not disappoint.
