What is SAAT Exam?

SAAT is Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan University Admission Test which is organized by Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan University for admission in numerous programs of the university. SAAT is a state level entrance test and it is conducted every year, lakhs of eligible candidates have taken this written examination for admission in desired courses.

Another characteristic of the SAAT exam is that the applicants with diploma in engineering, technology, pharmacy and hospitality and tourism management are suitable for admission in regular programs under lateral entry scheme by SAAT.

The Under graduate and post graduate offered courses through SAAT are mentioned below:-
1. BA
2. MA
3. BBA
4. MBA
5. BCA
6. MCA
7. B.Tech
8. M.Tech
9. B.Com
10. M.Com
11. PhD
12. M.Phil, etc.

To appear in the SAAT examination candidates have to fill up the application form first and then submit before the last date. The all details about the SAAT Application Form are given below:-
1. Candidates have to download the application form from the main site of the university.
2. After downloading the SAAT Application Form candidates need to fill up with appropriate detail and attach the Xerox copies of the required documents.
3. The application fee is Rs. 500/- should be paid by debit card, credit card and demand draft “Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan University” payable at Bhubaneswar.

SAAT Exam Pattern 
1. There will be multiple-choice questions in the SAAT exam. The total numbers of question is 60 will be asked in the test.
2. Every question will have 4 possible answers with only one is right answer and the examinee will have blacken only the exact circle with HB pencil or black and blue ballpoint pen.
3. Every right answer will hold 4 marks and each wrong answer will cut the one mark. Every one unanswered question will bring zero mark.
4. In case more than 1 loop is filled for 1 question then it will be carried for as an wrong answer and one mark will be deducted.
5. There will be four options such as A, B, C and D candidates have to select the right answer.

Age Limitations:
1. Candidate age should not be below then 17 years and must not be above then 25 years.
2. The upper age limit is applicable for Schedule Class and Schedule Tribe candidates are five years.

Eligibility Criteria for SAAT:
1. Candidates who have qualified the HSC and SSC classes are eligible to attend the SAAT Examination.
2. In high school or intermediate or related examination, applicants should have subjects such as Physics, Mathematics as necessary and one of them like Chemistry, Computer Science, Information Technology, Biotechnology, Biology, Informatics, Statistics, etc.
3. Participants must have obtained minimum 50% marks in all the 10th and 12th classes.
4. In case any candidates have completed the Engineering or Technology diploma with minimum 60% marks are also suitable to apply for SAAT.
