What is ghee oil used for?

Ghee, also known as clarified butter, is an organic compound that is obtained by the process of boiling unsalted dairy butter. What is ghee oil? The question is very common. Pure cow ghee made from 100% grass-fed cow’s milk can be extremely beneficial for all. Ghee is usually referred to as liquid golden due to its light golden color and amazing health benefits. Ghee has different melting points, textures, smells, etc. depending on the source of the milk. Ghee can be made from cow milk, sheep milk, or buffalo milk.

According to studies, ghee nutrition is effective for the regulation of blood pressure, cholesterol levels, glucose levels, body temperature, and immunity system. It is also beneficial for heart health and circulation. It has properties (vitamin E, CLA) that make it an anti-oxidant and thus plays a role in fighting cancer. What is ghee used for, in simple terms, is being used as a food and medicine additive for its benefits to the above-mentioned health attributes. 

So what is ghee nutrition then? It is a healthful milk fat that can be used both for cooking and baking. Ghee can be used as a dip for salads and other cooked foods, or you can add a few drops onto desserts to enhance the flavor. It is often used as a cooking agent for deep frying, sautéing, grilling,  food items. In Indian cuisine, ghee is used for deep frying purposes along with other ingredients like mustard seeds, cumin, ginger, etc. For baking purposes, it is often mixed with egg yolks, sugar or honey, salt, and oil to increase the texture and flavor of baked food items.
