Ghee is a popular cooking oil but what is ghee, you may ask? Ghee is also known as clarified butter which is made from the pure milk fat. To make ghee the butter is boiled and simmered for a few minutes until the milk solids get removed. Lastly, the mixture is strained so that the milk solids get removed. Ghee is derived from the milk that is obtained from grass-fed cows, sheep or even buffalo.  It has been around for centuries and is still commonly found in Indian and Middle Eastern cuisine.

What is ghee oil? Ghee oil is not only a healthy food item but is also one of the most nutritious on the planet. At the room temperature, ghee is semi-solid but when it is melted it becomes liquid which is called ghee oil. What is ghee nutritional value? Ghee is high in essential fatty acids like omega 3 and omega 6. The CLA found in ghee works as an antioxidant. Ghee or clarified butter is also known to be rich in fat-soluble vitamins like A, D, E and K.

In addition to what is ghee, and what is ghee taste? Ghee contains a unique nutty and buttery flavor that is very similar to that of natural cream. The flavor of ghee is highly versatile and  it can be added to warm soups, stews, salads and more to enhance the taste. This was all about ghee oil and its usefulness. It is advised to include organic grass-fed ghee to your diet so that you can get the best possible health benefits. If you are looking for an excellent source of essential fatty acids, grass-fed ghee is a perfect choice, and ghee nutritional value increases tenfold when added to your daily diet.
