  5. An alcohol-dependent person starts neglecting self-care, friends along with the family as well as his profession. The personal and professional life becomes secondary to him.
  6. Despite the occurrence of continuous physical and mental harmful consequences, an alcohol-dependent person will not stop drinking alcohol.

How to Identify an Alcohol-Dependent Person?

When a person is alcohol dependent, he exhibits some physical signs of dysfunctions. Most of the people suffer from tremors in their hands during the morning. They mostly suffer from alcohol-induced illnesses. These people face blackouts when they are highly intoxicated with alcohol. They lose partial memory of the events that happen with them after they are drunk. The most evident symptom in these cases is alcohol tolerance which forces them to increase the amount of alcohol every time they drink. The most pathetic thing about it is that they can’t imagine their life even without alcohol and plan to drink it every time.
