What is Aarogya Setu app? How does the Aarogya Setu app work?

Aarogya Setu is an Indian open source cross platform for Contact tracing, Syndromic mapping and self-assessment digital service. Purpose of this app is to spread awareness of COVID 19 and connect to the COVID 19 related health services to the Indian people. Aarogya Setu app will notify user whether you are in and around a high-risk region.

If any of the connections tested positive, the app will calculate the chance of infection. I am also using this app and found very helpful. It provides a self assessment test to measure the risk of COVID 19. Apart from this, it is also keeps the users up to date about the latest information of COVID 19.

How does the Aarogya Setu app work?

1. Contact- tracing apps, Aarogya Setu apps inform the users about the identified Coronavirus patients if they are near this location.
2. The app is secured and the privacy tells that your data will not be shared with any other persons.
3. If a person is examined positive then this information is recorded in this app. The app will advise ll the persons who come in this community with that infected person.
4. It is used the Bluetooth connectivity to verify if you have been within six feet of the infected person.
5. The app will aid the government in taking timely actions in stopping the spread of the epidemic by ensuring the isolation of all suspected patients.
6. This app will examine and suspect the risk of viruses based on the interactions, provide appropriate advice and also provide the important information to Government authorities about the traveling of suspected people.
