What does Self Publishing actually means

For recent past ten years, the  publishers wore a tunic namely self publisher, but the fact is far from the running trends, there are many debut authors who are disguised by the publishers who name them as self publishing company which in real life does not even make a proper sense of the Title, rather they are just self publishing service providers,   they scream that they are self publishing company where as the self publishing keeps it’s words only when it is published by the authors himself, In most of the case Authors meet such publisher and all the  are performed by the company charging for each single Service, then where is the Self Publisher??. There are more than 300 thousand authors who totally rely on the Publishing  Company to get their  Book Published , but indeed they are getting the amount transferred from their credit card to publisher account.

Few points which are imperative for authors but the publishers got nothing to do with these all like:

Ø  The Topic you are willing to draw the buyers for.

Ø  The amount of Books Published.

Ø  The Publisher you selected to get your Ebook Published.

 

Most of the times the authors are made assured that they will be provided ISBN, but make sure whatever ISBN is assigned to you is passive for you because it was already assigned to Publishers and they have allotted you, as soon as you stick with the publishers they don’t have business any more of how many books you sold online They only mind the quantity you booked to earn the bunches of dollar, suppose you fixed the price $3.5 per Book, published 1000 books and sold 100 copies, the publisher earned from 1000 orders neither from $3.5 nor 100 books which have been sold and this is what they emphasize on and convince you about.

The internet is screaming about the E-Books , so authors are also running after this , each one believing his next one but none of them doused to the Fact of E-Book and self Publishing . Lot of services are provided from Publishers like Copy editing , ISBN, Self Publishing, format editing etc. You are heavily charged for these services it does not matter whether your Book needed these services or not, but the charges for these services were included at the time you found decrement in the Balance of  your Credit Card.

The Topic is too long to discuss here but some Crux is here, it has been observed that The book which got ISBN and copyright etc. are more preferred by the Book sellers and vendors , select the Best and trustworthy Publishers who are not aiming to exploit your money but have some idea to uplift your thoughts with the genuine  price. Get the best assurance of the service you are being given, ask as much questions as  you can to be drastically clear about the services.
