Yes. A lot of our managers are involved in the Employee Assistance Team and the Training and Career Advancement Program, and they help our staff stay abreast of all the latest opportunities, information and resources.

It is also true that most of the Macy Benefits work is performed at night, and it is not possible to take the time to really experience the company during the day.

How does the Macy's employee discount work?

The Macy's employee discount applies to items purchased in the following categories after you've completed a transaction in the participating Macy's.

What is the employee discount at Macys?

If you are an adult employee paying full-time wages, the discount will be 60% off for the remainder of the 12 months of your employment. The discount is also available for part-time employees with at least two years of service within the previous 12 months who have worked at least 6 months, regardless of their annual wage. These employees also earn 20% off their full-time wages at Macys.

If a child employee is at least 18 years of age, the employee discounts can be up to 50% off for the remainder of the 12 months of employment. The employee discount discount cannot exceed 80% off of the employee's full-time wages, but only for the period you have been with Macys. Any additional wages earned during this period are not allowed to accumulate.
