·         The printed circuit board (or PCB): The PCN is the green or blue colored board inside your device that is often called the motherboard. Most of the integrated circuits in the cellphone that are responsible for performing different functions are fixed here and all parts of the phone are attached to this board.

·         Battery: The battery performs the task of supplying power to the phone. In most cell phone you can simply remove the back cover to remove the battery whereas in few others you have to disassemble the entire phone to remove the battery. The output voltage of a mobile battery is either 3.7 V DC or 3.8 V DC.

·         Mic: The microphone or the mouthpiece converts sound into electric signals and can be found at the bottom end inside the cellphone.

·         Speaker: The role of the speaker or the earpiece is just opposite to that of the microphone. The speaker converts electric signals into sound and is seen at the top end of the cellphone.

·         Ringer: A ringer or loudspeaker is that part of the cellphone through which we hear ringtones, music and all other sounds.

·         Vibrator: The vibrator is a DC motor that creates vibration when the cellphone rotates. It is the vibrator that makes your phone vibrate when you receive a call.

·         Antenna: The antenna is responsible for receiving and transmitting signals. Most phones have inbuilt antennas that are not visible from the outside.

·         Display: The phone screen is also known as its display. It is called LCD because it is liquid crystal based.

·         Touch: The transparent part over the LCD is the touch screen. Most phones these days come with the LCD and the touch fused together.

·         Battery connector: The battery connector, as the name says, connects the battery to the PCB and transfers the voltage from the battery to the PCB.

·         Charging connector: This is the socket in which you can plug the charger whenever the battery drains out.
