What Apple Being Busy Preparing for WWDC 2012
Apple’s WWDC 2012 is to be held in June and the tickets had already been sold out. Wanna know what Apple is preparing for the big conference? Let’s see what Apple has been busy doing recently.
iCloud Online Service Upgrade
One of the things Apple is doing recently it to upgrade its online service iCloud, preparing to introduce it to public at Apple's world-wide developer conference in June. The upgrade would enable users to share photos and sync videos via iCloud. The current iCloud only allows users to sync one set of photos from other Apple devices like ipad or iphone via Photo Stream. After the upgrade, users not only can share photos more freely, but also comment on photos. The upgraded iCloud would come within Apple’s new iOS 6, which would be previewed in the WWDC in June.
Plan Slimmer Mac Laptop with Intel Chips
Besides the icloud upgrade, Apple is shifting its attention to the mac laptop line recently. According to Bloomberg, Apple is preparing a slimmer mac laptop with more powerful inter chips for the WWDC. The new macbook pro would be equipped with high definition display screens like those on the iPhone and iPad. And it would have bigger flash memory for short start-up time, as well as a battery with bigger capacity.
Since the first generation iphone was announced in 2007, Apple’s attention has been shifted gradually into mobile computing devices. Even Apple accessories wholesalers around the world have shifted their product line from mabook accessories into best ipad accessories and iphone accessories, as well as cheap ipod accessories. But now Apple’s ipad and iphone are both stand in the top place in mobile computing devices market, while macbook is losing its market strength for no renewal in such a long time. Therefore, Apple is planning a new mac laptop to save its macbook lineup. Apple’s new laptops will run on Intel’s new processors, code-named Ivy Bridge, and will have a slimmed-down body design from the current 0.95-inch thickness, according to some source.
Flashback Removal Tool for Mac OS X 10.5
Flashback malware broke out last August, and a lot of security companies had issued detection and removal tools for Apple users. And last year Apple has also issued its own removal tools for OS X 10.7 and 10.6 users, excluding mac os x 10.5. That’s because Apple had stopped softeare support for 10.5 in favor of 10.6 and 10.7. Apple’s flashback removal tool is designed to run once to detect the malware and remove it and then remove itself in the end. Now this Monday, Apple finally made its flashback removal tool available for mac os x 10.5.
