WBJEE 2015 Counselling will commence from 30 June

All the medical and engineering aspirants who have passed the WBJEE 2015 exam with minimum cutoff marks can participate in the counselling. The rank allotted to the candidates is the first criteria on which the seats will be allocated to the candidates. The online registration and downloading of e-challan will commence from 30th June 2015. More updated details on the WBJEE
2015 counselling schedule is given below.

In total, there will be three counselling rounds held which will give opportunity to the selected candidates to fill their choices. After the end of each counselling round, the list of vacant seats will be released. If a candidate denies the allocated seat, he/she will be allowed to move to next round for further seat allotment process. If he/she accepts the allocated seat then he/she needs to report at the centre to claim it. The registration and choice filling process will start from 30th June 2015 and will end by 7th July 2015. The three rounds of WBJEE 2015 counselling are discussed below-

First round of seat allotment-

The choice locking for the first round of seat allotment will start from 5th July 2015 to 7th July 2015. The results of the first round will be released on 8th July 2015. The remote admissions at the reporting centres after the announcement of first round of seat allotment will be done from 9th July 2015 to 13th July 2015 and the withdrawal from the allotted seats has to done in the same time at the reporting centre. The list of the vacant seats due to any reason like non reporting of the candidate or withdrawal of seat by the candidate, will be made available on 13th July 2015.

Second round of seat allotment-

The second round of the WBJEE counselling 2015 will start on 14th July 2015 and the result for the same will be announced on the same day. After the announcement of result, only the fresh   allottee can report to the report centres for remote admission or can withdraw from the allotted seat at the same centre on 15th and 16th July 2015. The list of the vacant seats after the second round of seat allotment will be made available on the official website by 16th July 2015.

The approval by the competent authority for the conversion seats on the basis of MIS reports will be done on 17th July 2015.

Third round of seat allotment-

The third round of seat allotment process will be done on 19th July 2015 and the result for the same will be announced on the same date. The fresh allotee from this round need to report at the reporting centre for remote admission on 20th and 21st July 2015. The withdrawal from seats by the candidate can only be done on these two dates only.

The final reporting to the respective allotted institutes by all the candidates who have been allotted seats in any  round have to be done from 20th to 24th July 2015.
The final list of the vacant seats will be declared by the board on 24th July 2015 after the physical reporting which will mark the closure of WBJEE counselling process.
