WBJEE 2014 Entrance Exam, Cutoff, Result
The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination (WBJEE) 2014 is scheduled for 20 April 2014 in offline mode for the candidates eligible and interested in pursuing engineering at undergraduate level in the colleges of West Bengal. It is a state level exam conducted once every year for the WBJEE board. The applicants filling the application form by ensuring the set eligibility will be allowed to appear for the entrance exam on the scheduled date.

WBJEE 2014 Eligibility Criteria:
The official authority sets the eligibility criteria and as far the WBJEE 2014 eligibility criterion is concerned, it is categorized in eligibility for marine engineering and eligible for general courses. The applicants must ensure their eligibility before heading towards the filling of application form.
A). Eligibility for B.Tech (Marine Engineering)
- The candidate must have qualified the class XII exam with minimum of 60% marks
- Must have had Physics, Chemistry and Math as core subjects in class XII
- It is compulsory to clear all the subjects individually
- For every incorrect answer, 33% marks will be deducted
B). Eligibility for B.Tech (General Courses)
- The applicant must have attained the age of 17 year by December 2013
- The candidate must have qualified the class XII from a recognized state or central board of education
- In English subject, the candidate is required to score minimum of 30% marks
- The applicants of general category need to score minimum of 45% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Math subject while SC/ST category candidates need to score 40% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Math subjects
WBJEE 2014 Application Form
Once the candidate qualifies the set eligibility, he/she needs to fill the application form in the mode available i.e. online or offline mode. However, WBJEE 2014 Application form is available in online mode therefore; the candidates can required to make the online registration in order to fill the application form.
The applicants filling the WBJEE 2014 Application form need to make the payment of application fee. The payment of the application fee can be made through online or electronic payment gateways including credit card or debit card or through Allahabad or post office e-challan.
WBJEE 2014 Exam Pattern:
- As per the exam pattern of WBJEE 2014 exam, there will be three sections of Physics, Chemistry and Math subject
- The exam will be for total of 250 marks
- There will be multiple- choice questions i.e. no descriptive paper and there will be total of 4 options to each question.
