Top Methods To Fix Chrome Not Responding Windows

One: Remove Any Unwanted Extensions/Add-Ons

  • Select the 3 vertical dots or menu button on the top right

  •  Now, select the more tools option and then click on the extensions

  • Now view all the installed extensions in your Chrome and disable the unwanted ones by clicking the “Enabled” checkbox and re-launch your Chrome

Two: Update Google Chrome

  • Launch your Google Chrome and scroll to the 3 vertical dots or menu icon on the top right

  • Now hit the “Help” option and then select the “About Google Chrome”

  • Now your Chrome should automatically begin the update check and then its installation 

  • After the Chrome is done updating, re-launch it to see if it works fine

Three: Disable The Automatic Send Usage Statistics & Crash Reports Variables

  • Open your Google Chrome and hit the menu button or 3 vertical dots on the top right

  • Navigate to the Chrome settings and then select the Show Advance Settings option

  • Move to the privacy section and then select the “Automatically send usage statistics and crash reports to Google” option

  • Now disable the option by clicking on the checkbox next to it

  • Now, simply re-launch your Chrome to see if it working properly
