Not long ago we gave you a heads up on a release date for the Air Jordan 11 72-10, which, based on this new photo straight from one of OVO’s crew members, is certainly going down. What’s not really surprising is that the shoes are likely to release at the OVO pop-up shops in Toronto during OVOfest, but the fact that Nike has official imagery of this collaboration release. Will a release go down in Nike.com? Will they hit select spots like NikeLab or even the top-tier retailers?
The Jordan 11 has made a killing off original colorways that you otherwise wouldn’t find anywhere else. A touch of premium aesthetics at the hands of Italian craftsmanship has turned heads over the past year with smart collaborative efforts from Packer Shoes, mita sneakers, and more. But what happens when the archival runner reverts to a murdered out color choice? Gone are the lux materials for a standard set of synthetic leather, suede and mesh in a rather anonymous pair.
