VITEEE 2014 Entrance Examination

VITEEE 2014 is the entrance exam is conducted by VIT University. Through this exam the candidates will get the admission to various undergraduate programs. The Exam date will be around second and third week of April 2014. The Application Forms for the same will be available in the first week of the December 2013.

VITEEE 2014 Eligibility Criteria

There is a fixed eligibility criterion which must be met by each and every candidate before he/she is assumed to be eligible for admission. main eligibility criteria for VITEEE 2014:

 

• The candidates with date of birth on or after 1 July 1992 will only be eligible.
• Minimum aggregate of 60% in Physics, Chemistry, Math or Biology, is expected from the candidate in qualifying exam.
• The relaxation of 10% will be provided for the candidates under reserved class and candidates from Jammu Kashmir and Northeastern states.
• The candidate must have completed XII standard/qualifying exam from the recognized board.

 

VITEEE 2014 Application Form

Application Forms will be filled both online and offline. The candidate may choose any mode to fill his/her Application Form.

 

Online Mode:

• The candidate must go to the official website.
• Search for online application form.
• Read the instructions for filling the form.
• Fill the Application Form following the instruction.
• Move to the next step of application process and select the payment mode.
• Pay the fee either online or choose demand draft option.
• Recheck the information filled in the form.
• Click on the submit button.
• A unique key will be generated on the screen.
• The candidate must preserve the unique key.
• Send the print out of Application form or confirmation page to VIT University (with Demand Draft of Application fee if not paid online).

 

Offline Mode:

There are various methods of accessing the Application Form in Offline Mode:

• Purchase through cash counters:
• Buy the application form personally from VIT University campus (cash payment)
• The candidate will also be able to purchase the Application Form through cash payment from various certified sale centers.
• The candidate can order the application form from the university. For this the candidate must send his address written on an envelop with demand draft to VIT at following address: Admissions Officer, VIT University, Vellore-632 014, Tamil Nadu, India

 

VITEEE 2014 Admit Card

 The Admit card or the hall ticket is for the identification of the applicant as eligible candidate. The admit card will be issued only to the candidates who have submitted the application form and fee. The Admit card will be the entry pass for the candidate on the Exam day. The candidate who will fail to bring the admit card on the exam day will not be allowed in the exam.

 

VITEEE 2014 Result

 VITEEE 2014 result will be declared around May 2014. The candidate may see his/her result on the official website of the University. The merit list will also be created on the basis of this result. This merit list will contain the names of candidates who will score marks above the cutoff marks.  These candidates will move to the next steps of the admission process and seats will be allocated to these candidates according to the merit obtained.

 

VITEEE 2014 Counselling

 The candidates who will score marks above the cutoff list decided, will be included a list called merit list. The candidates in this list will be eligible for further admission process that is seat allotment. The process of seat allocation is also called counselling. The candidate must be present personally at the venue of the counselling. The original documents of the candidate will also be verified before allotting any seat to the candidate. Therefore counselling involves both allotment of seats and verification of documents.
