VIT tops in RPC section in Private Institutions of NIRF Ranking 2018

According to MHRD NIRF Ranking 2018 released on April 3 by Union HRD Minister Prakash Javadekar, IIM Ahmedabad has been ranked at 1st place in the consecutive year, IIM Bangalore, Calcutta, Lucknow 2nd, 3rd and 4th places. Out of 10 places, 4 IITs ranked in Management List. While IIM A topped the management institution list, The Indian Institute of Science (IISC) in Bengaluru has been adjudged as the overall best institution in India, All India Institutes of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) top in Medical, Indian Institute of Technology, Madras (IIT Madras) in Engineering and Miranda House Delhi Top in college, Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur top in Architecture and Indian Institute of Science (IISc) in university section.

IIT Delhi, Roorkee & Kharagpur ranks 1^st 2^nd and 3^rd place in a consecutive year 2017, 2018.

In the RPC (Research and Professional Practice) Sections only 3 IIMs ranks in top 10 places alongwith 5 IIT & VIT Vellore ranked in top 10 places. In the RPC parameter 4 section Combined metric for Publications (PU), Combined metric for Quality of Publications (QP), IPR and Patents: Filed, Published, Granted and Licensed (IPR) and Footprint of Projects and Professional Practice and Executive Development Programs (FPPP).
