The HHI, Kolkata distinguishes itself from rest of the hotels in Kolkata by featuring versatility in its research endeavors. But this versatility is present in all other hotels of the HHI group.

The HHI Group of Hotels has been present in India for quite a long time; however, it has never faced a situation where its existence is in jeopardy. The credit for this goes to the research department of the HHI group which believes in learning about the bygone days along with the heritage dishes.

For example, a lot of research has been done to present the real Hyderabadi luxury by the HHI, Kolkata in addition to the research undertaken for acquiring the original recipe for two of its signature dishes: Lazeez Pasliyan and Murg Qurmay Kee Biryani.

Therefore, people at the HHI, Kolkata have done a great bit of thinking about how to present an ambience which stems from the days of the Nizams. Put simply, how can its guests get the essence of the royalty of that region?

This type of research has not been undertaken in Kolkata alone. Rather, all HHI hotels in Pune, Varanasi, Bhubaneswar and Bengaluru have done their bit.

For example, the HHI, Bhubaneswar has done a lot of homework in acquiring the different kebab recipes and their underlying ambience from different regions of the country. Another example is that of the HHI, Varanasi which has brilliantly presented the essence of the North-West Frontier through the ambience and the delicacies of Aangan. Another example that can be taken is the HHI, Pune that has ‘The Eye Club’ which gives to its guests the essence of the Mughal royalty in addition to presenting some of the most luscious dishes belonging to the cuisines: Mughal, Konkani and Punjabi.

Therefore, the HHI, Kolkata succeeds in maintaining the versatility synonymous to its brethren among all the hotels in Kolkata. Needless to say, the future for this hotel is nothing but absolutely brilliant.
