Velvet Dupatta from Amritsar |
A dupatta is a grace-giver
to every Indian wearing suit, Kurti, or lehenga. As per our Indian customs, any
Indian salwar kameez is incomplete without a dupatta or a stole.
This one shown here is woven by expert weavers from Amritsar, having a
highlighted native touch of phulkari style. It is woven in super soft and warm
velvet fabric which enhances its richness and the statuesque beauty of the
wearer. You can pair this heavy velvet stole with any plain Kurti or suit of a
contrasting shade and beautiful diamond-like danglers to ornate your ears. We
are concerned about your choice and taste, therefore we avail you of a variety
of colors of this velvet dupatta which are- Tibetan wine, jet black, royal green, fuchsia,
bright red, royal blue, and a blend of red and brown.
These colors can make your attire to be a perfect wear for morning or evening functions. The entire dupatta is embroidered in graceful zari and sequins of flower patterns spread all across the field area; the border is woven in a wavy pattern and luxuriously embroidered with heavy flowers and vines that complement the flower motifs in the main field. The border is decorated with colorful thread embroidery on the leaves to nurture the phulkari fashion style of Punjab. Wear this dupatta over any contrasting lehenga or Kurti to make the best use of its style.
