Vastu Shastra is not a myth or a superstitious belief. Be it Vastu Shastra for home, Vastu Shastra for kitchen, Vastu Shastra for hotel or Vastu Shastra for bedroom, Vastu Shastra overall refers to a study of structures and positioning of buildings based on ancient science and has been well defined in our Puranas and Upanishads. Vastu is backed by logical thinking and scientific research which is supported by the five elements of nature in co-relation with the ten different directions including space. When all these elements are well balanced with each other, it creates a healthy and conducive environment, free off all negativities, to live in, which in turn ensures success, health, wealth and prosperity for its inmates.

Vaastu Shastra is has a very close connectivity with the five elements of nature and the ten directions including the center and space. We hereby take a consistent effort to mention in detail how each of these is interlinked with the other one so as to create a Vastu-friendly environment around us.

Earth element

When it is the stability in life that we are talking about, both at the home and the office front, it is the earth element which tends to play a vital role in this hemisphere. If the Earth element of your property is disturbed by any chance, it would lead to unnecessary delays in every venture of life, lots of ups and downs in business, loss of employment opportunities, internal tensions among family members and even weakening of relationships. The Earth element is said to be effected if there happens to be an underground water tank or a basement in the south west direction of the plot. The earth element is present in the south west direction and any hindrance or blockage here can disrupt this element of nature.

Fire Element

Fire element can provide you with goodwill, name, fame and prosperity if utilized properly as per Vastu principles or else it can lead to massive legal issues, enmity in relations and regular quarrels with family members. The south-east is the direction for the fire element and hence the kitchen should be positioned in this direction. Fire cooks food, but also burns away all positives. Hence, this element should be handled with great care and precaution. It should also be noted noted that there is no trace of water in this part of the house as fire and water are anti-elements and can cause blunders if mixed together.

Water Element

Water element determines growth, and if stagnated in one place can restrict overall growth and prosperity of an individual. The direction for water is the north-east as per the Vastu principle.

Air Element

Career and personality are determined by the air element. The direction for the air element is the north-west. There should not be any clutter in this area of the house or else it would lead to confusion of mind and losing of lot of opportunities in life.

Sky Element

The growth and success heights of a person are determined by the sky element. If you want to touch the skies of success, the sky element has to be dealt with very carefully. Sky represents Lord Shiva which in turn brings about peace and prosperity for an individual.
