USB ELM327 OBD2 Software User Manual

Usb ELM327 V1.5 is OBD2 diagnostic USB interface. ELM327 USB OBD2 Interface support all obd2 portocols. Do you know how to install USB ELM327 obd2 Software on Windows OS?           

STEP 1: Download Latest USB ELM327 Drivers

Download the following USB ELM327 OBD2 Cables drivers: Driver Pack 1, Driver Pack 2

Double-click to install them.

STEP 2: Plug USB ELM327 Cable Into Your Laptop

Plug your cable to any USB port on your laptop.

If the “Hardware Wizard” windows opens (as shown below), just Cancel it.

STEP 3:  Open and Access Device Manager

Windows Vista/7/8:

    Control Panel » System » Device Manager

Windows XP:

    Control Panel » System » “Hardware” tab » Device Manager

STEP 4: Install Latest USB ELM327 firmware Drivers

Right-click on “FT232R USB UART” or “USB Serial Port” — and click on “Update Driver Software” — as per below pictures:
