UPTET Eligibility Criteria 2015 Details Here

UPTET 2015 Eligibility criteria are the set of conditions and clauses which are obligatory to be satisfied by the aspirants who wish to sit in this examination. UPTET Eligibility Criteria 2015 is prescribed by Uttar Pradesh basic education board. As this examination is organized to select the aspirants for the post of primary as well as upper primary teachers therefore it is mandatory that the candidate is eligible for this post. Apply only if you are eligible.

UPTET Eligibility Criteria – Details

Norm 1: Nationality

• The aspirant must be an Indian citizen

Norm 2: Qualification for Primary level teacher

• The aspirant must be graduated with at least 50% aggregate marks and must be qualified in one of the following course:

NTT training
CT (Nursery training)
BTC training
2 years B.Ed course
Note: all these courses must be approved by NCTE as per the Eligibility Criteria of UPTET 2015.

• For Urdu teacher, the candidate must be graduated by Aligarh Muslim University.

• The candidate who has completed his graduation in Moellim – e – Urdu before 11/ 08/ 1987, then he is eligible for Urdu teacher.

Norm 3: Qualification for secondary level teacher

• Qualification degree must be of minimum 50% degree along with

NTT training (2 years)
BTC training
1 year B.Ed with old as well as new pattern

• Also, the candidate appearing in BTC final year are also eligible for this examination as per UPTET 2015 Eligibility Criteria.

Norm 4: Age

• There is no age limit for this examination. No limit of age for the candidates who wish to apply for this examination.

Note: The candidate with professional degree namely B.Tech, BCA, BBA and B.E. are strictly not eligible for this examination as per the Eligibility Criteria of UPTET.

UPTET Eligibility Criteria 2015 – Instructions

• If the candidate is ineligible as according to the norms given above, then he or she is advised to wait for the next time and not apply with the false information.

• Qualification details in the application form will be verified by the exam conducting body. Hence, if the candidate fills the application form with wrong information then his ineligibility will be detected at that time.

• The candidate is not allowed to fill the application form if he is not satisfying even the single condition of the UPTET Eligibility Criteria.

• Candidates must have the valid documents as exam official authority will conduct document verification round just after the declaration of result.

• Selection procedure involves the main examination as well as the personal interview. The candidates who will qualify the main examination are then called to join the next level. Candidates will be recruited only after clearing the second level.

Note: Check your eligibility according to the Eligibility Criteria of UPTET 2015 before taking the step towards the application form. If the aspirant is found ineligible then his candidature ship will be cancelled out and the fee which is submitted along with application form will not be refunded.
